Technical 120 mjet stiff/notchy gear chan

the gear change has gone notchy and its quite difficult to get reverse especially when cold do they suffer with selector problems (the bit on top of the gearbox) as the cables feel free

The selector on my was stiff and the gear stick woudent move from right to left and gears where hard to engage. Turned out it was not the cables but the selector that gone bad. Where the screw goes in that holds the cables on top of the selector there's also two plastic "busches" one of them had shrunk don't ask how that happened but it did. I made it bigger with a file and then it worked again.
