hi all,
i have just purchased a first car for my daughter, after much deliberation and my past love of Fiats it had to be a Panda 100hp 2006 (awesome reviews).
My fiat history has been... back in the day, 1979 131 Mirafiori Sport in Arancio Racing Orange (mine for 5yrs) followed by (later on) a Bravo HGT in bogey-metallic green, my bro had an early Fiat Panda in beige..and my old friends (also back in the day) had 131 Mirafiori Sport in Gunmetal grey, 127 Sport (black) ,127 Sport (Orange) ,X19 1300 (small bumper model) in Mettallic Lime green, Strada Abarth 130tc series one in grey.
My computer room at home is an Abarth shrine (much to my wife rolling her eyes)
I was once a member of the FTC Register and the FMC, life moves on and here i am today aged nearly 50 reliving the Fiat fun (albeit in the guise of a car for my Daughter lol).
What can i say about the little Panda....she's gonna have to wrench the keys from my dead lifeless fingers to get behind the wheel!! i love it!!!
My daily driver (Audi 2.0tfsi quattro with Revo stage one remap etc) has been sitting forlornly on my drive since purchasing the little 100hp Panda last month!!....that says it all for reliving my youth and the magnetic-attraction i have for fast little fiats i guess:):D(y)
so, its a big hello from me after my long absence from the Fiat world. Chris (Exeter) x

Hi

That's an excellent selection you have had good times with. Poor daughter! Sounds like she'll have difficulty in wrestling the keys from you!

If you make it past 1 month ownership then you will find yourself keeping the 100hp for a long time.

Oh and welcome. Forum is a friendly place now. Didnt use to be

Bought new almost 4 years and 20000 miles ago..........do I win a prize?

Yeah six free sessions with a chiropractor ! I had a love /hate relationship with my 100hp.Sold it after around 6 months .Getting along well with my Multijet now closer to four years than three on .

I'm still in the honeymoon period (long may it last!). I just think it's a great little package. Fun, pretty quick (compared to most of my previous cars) well equipped and solidly built. Pretty practical too and quite refined IMO. Looks great too, of course!:D
