Hoping someone can give me some pointers.
The drivers side electric window starting making a lot of noise yesterday going up and down. Removed the door card, cut into the membrane and found that the white clip that goes into the window and attaches to the window guide rail had snapped.
Spoke to fiat this morning and they can supply a new clip for £2.48 which seems a bargain.
But fitting doesn't look as easy. Do I need to remove the window and regulator from the car to fix it or can it be done in situ?
Anyone done this DIY before? There is no fiat specialists in the area (Ayshire Scotland) and I'm not paying the extortionate labour rate that Arnold Clark fiat want.
