10 inch sub

lo all i just bought maself a 10inch sub, but as im 2 cheap and nasty 2 buy a box....and i have all the stuff at home, wot size should it be any ideas?

It all depends on what sub it is, most manufacturers will give you a certain tolerance ie some where between minumum size 'x', and maximum size 'y' etc. Let us know make make it is & that may help!

4 exact measure do the above but 4 a 10 incher i wud give a couple of cubic feet volume inside the box if it was sealed

2.5 min 4 a ported box havent a clue about specific surface area of ports but the needs to be exact

my first box was £60, thick quality mdf with good terminals, carpeted, double 10"
however the carpet didnt stick on well and there was no central divider
i found a shop that sells electrical things and they sold me for £44 inc vat a TRIPLE 10" with 2 dividers, 20x3 cubic feet, i cut the carpet off each end and and it fits EXACTLY inbetween both wheel arches, id reccomend this to ANY fiat uno owner, it did take up 60% of the boot space, but was a nice enough shape to get the most out of my three 10" subs (which were incredibly loud and went down to 30hz)
even if youre poor you can afford this!
£22 for a single 12" and £18 for a single 10", or something like that, too

u wana 15" sub i cud get mine to play lower than 15hz of my m8s illegal test loops. apparantly if u play them on the road u can distract drivers too much cos they r soo low
