i have had a wobble on the car for a while on acceleration, only small at slow speeds, but at 55mph plus it shakes. i have changed wishbones, link arms, track rod ends, checked bearings. but when changing the n/s wishbone, i noticed that the cv boot into the diff, wasnt a good tight fit, it can move in and out by a few milimetres and thus enabling it to move up and down, side to side slightly. so i put my wobble down to this, or is it supposed to be like this, as i have never known it before.

Yep the boot should be rigid and fixed firmly to the joint..Investigate further If I were you..(y)

is there a possibility that the boot hasnt been pushed all the way into the diff, but far enough that it doesnt leak gearbox oil.
just been looking on ebay and someone is selling an input shaft bearing and seal, now could this be the problem.

could the input shaft bearing if faulty cause the cv boot to move up and down, side to side slightly, causing a shake at 55mph plus
