I've heard too that you can blank them off and just get a remap on the ecu.
Alot of people do this to their vectra's and other vaux's for more power, so don't see why it can't be beneficial to a fiat.
He's not after more power because the car hasnt got enough power. His car is losing power due to an issue it has.
Yeah but if you can blank them off, to avoid paying for a whole new one, then you win two ways, you get a remap for fuel efficiency etc, and whilst it is blanked off the extra power.
John55 has already answered that in post #7so whay does blocking it acheive? i was advised to block mine, (which i will be doing soon)
That's the ideaso tempory blocking it should remove my cars symptoms? then if it does replace it?
Sure.should really do it then, sick of the no power up tiny hills lol. The modified gasket can stay on right?
