Technical 1.6 with low revs and jittery idling engine - any ideas?

i've got a stilo 1.6 dynamic 54 plate and the revs are shaky around the 8 mark any ideas? got the oil and air filter changed last week and the timing belt last year

been to a few garages today and reckon that its either the spark plugs or coils. replacing plugs today but further searches are shwoing good advice

Try a search on "throttle body" as that is certain to provide some clues

changed plug, job done. thanks all

cleaning the throttle body (inlet control valve) wouldn't be a bad idea to do as well. takes less than five minutes. like the guys said above theres a guide on it. I did it on my old 1.6 and it just made touching the throttle a little smoother.
