mmm, i guess on a bike its acceptable. If it were me i would have to have a plate recess put into the bumper or i'd not be happy and then you may as well have normal lights. Wouldn't be that hard to do i don't suppose, just about any recess off any car that has it on a plastic bit, then cut just under the black strip of the bumper and slot it in - fibreglass it or plastic weld it in....

It wouldn't be difficult at all. Cut the recess section out of a Cinquecento bumper and plastic weld it in place. The trouble is I only had an hour spare. ;)

The eBay road trip went well. My nine hour journey took a little over twelve due to the motorway network being about as much use as aluminum head bolts.

In a conversation with a friend of mine I mistakenly wrote "Carification" instead of "Clarification".

As we all know the three most referred to topics on the internet are Pornography, Whether we'd survive a "Zombie Apocalypse" and spelling mistakes.

Saturday I took the back seat out of my car and used a board as a flat surface. "Vanification".

Today I have refitted the back seat and the car is a car again...

I have the GT rear beam stripped and on eBay in parts all 99p start...

...but something has been bothering me.

The complete lack of camber adjustment.

I was looking at the wishbones and trying to work out a way of cutting the ends off and rotating them slightly to add some negative camber at the back but then I thought about the rear beam itself. By moving the outer holes up a millimeter or two that could be enough to tilt the rear arms.

If the parts don't sell I have some experimenting to do. ;)

The roll centre is perpendicular to the subframe so there's no change of camber at -60mm. With the GT brakes and Strada Abarth wheels the car will be 60mm wider so a little camber will hopefully mean I won't need to roll the arches.

As well as having one of the most hapless car thieves in the country someone who thinks operating the car is forty fifth on their list of things to do when driving.

Car park dent on the passenger side 3/4 while I was paint shopping. 426A is nice but I fancy something a little more individual. ;)

Best of all it was a hit and run. :bang:
