One or more bad sensors.
One or more bad sensors.
Go to an official Fiat dealer, have the ECU read ( again), and see what they find...
How about the O2 (Lambda) sensor?
I don't like universal sensors.
Try to find an original NTK sensor specific for your engine.
If the ECU reads false O2 figures, that might explain the over fueling...!!
My car is about 9 years old and has done about 40000 kms in that 9 years. You read it right
Keeping in account the age and quality of fuel we get in india, i decided to replace my cars o2 sensor without getting any warning light
The result was quiet good. Responsiveness improved, engine could build rpms like never before and i am using semi synthetic, no full synthetic
Most imporant kmpl improved by about 30 percent
That was the reason i suggested you an o2 sesnor change like peter has
If not fiat original, get a new bosch o2 sesnor. Here in india, oe o2 sesnor for palio is made by bosch and i am using same
All the best
Look at ePER on top of this page.
If they replace my ecu do they have to replace my door locks and that aswell or do they just program the new ecu to work with my car
