How about the O2 (Lambda) sensor?

I haven't changed it but the guy I got the car from fitted a 280mm universal lamda sensor don't know if he wired it correct because there's two white wires and like I said the cam timing whas out that guy I took it to set it right no the car pulls like a bom but still the injector light stays on can it be that the ecu needs to be reset after the cam timing is right now I tried disconecting the battery the whole night but it didn't do nothing what do u suggest I do ? Do u have a wiring daigram to wire the lamda sensor ?

I don't like universal sensors.
Try to find an original NTK sensor specific for your engine.
If the ECU reads false O2 figures, that might explain the over fueling...!!

Ok I'll go a search for one at a local motor scrapyard and strip it from a car will any 1.6 16v one work that n strip from the palio or palio weekend ? I'm driving the same as u the weekend

My car is about 9 years old and has done about 40000 kms in that 9 years. You read it right :)

Keeping in account the age and quality of fuel we get in india, i decided to replace my cars o2 sensor without getting any warning light

The result was quiet good. Responsiveness improved, engine could build rpms like never before and i am using semi synthetic, no full synthetic

Most imporant kmpl improved by about 30 percent

That was the reason i suggested you an o2 sesnor change like peter has

If not fiat original, get a new bosch o2 sesnor. Here in india, oe o2 sesnor for palio is made by bosch and i am using same

All the best

Thanks I'm going to see if I can get one today here

Guys how many sensors are there on the fiat palio weekend 1.6 16v thermostat housing becuase mine has the one 3 pin sensor and a 1 pin sensor but the one pin sensor has no wire on it ? Can that be why my car over feul had a guy checked it again to day with a ecu read show 3 errors 1 throttle potentoinmeter, watertemp , airflow sensor error when he clears it it just shows again so he siad he thinks its wireing that's the problem ?

Had the car's ecu read lastnight still shows that 3 errors checked the wiring can't see any wire for the second sensor on thermostat housing and tested each wire all are good so I don't know anymore with this car

If they replace my ecu do they have to replace my door locks and that aswell or do they just program the new ecu to work with my car

My cars ecu was chsnged 8 years back

They did not change door locks nor did they reprogram it

Maybe because there is no security system installed in my car
