I was driving home at 4am today and spotted a deserted car park which was completely coverd in ice.... Considering where I live we hardly get any ice or snow, I decided to take full advantage of this and went for a spin in the car park. Obviously I made sure no one was there and thought i'd test the my t jet on the ice.

Putting my foot down did nothing but keep the wheels spinning lol as expected and turning sharply at 20mph the car skidded about.. Surprisingly when I was driving in a straight line and slammed the brakes...it didnt skid and came to a sudden stop as if it was a normal dry road.. One thing I did learn though was Handbrake + ice = great fun :D

Well I just thought i'd share my day of fun in the ice lol, anyone else get up to any mischief in the snow/ice?

i tried this on an icy road last night with a wide bend covered in ice and snow, thought maybe a punto drift would happen, it didnt really work as i didnt have the balls to go any faster ha. might re-try tonight

Hand Brake turns :slayer: J-Turns (y) drifting round corners:D donuts

All in one amazing evening in an empty car park.... there is nothing more fun than that.....

just wondering though, what can happen to you if a copper catches you?

First there was Snow White on ice. Now, for one night only... PUNTOS ON ICE! Starring ut745 as the inexperienced drifter, corrupted by Carlick and his fancy J-Turn witchcraft  I'd pay to see that show  :p

If a copper catches you you are likely to get a section 59 public disorder act ticket, more commonly known as an ASBO

Haha LMAO :D who would'nt pay to see that, especially after such an action packed description as yours lol.

I hope i don't get caught tho, i only passed 18 days ago :p, would'nt want to lose my license straight away like my brother did. He lost it on his first day coz he drove his mates car uninsured..... I'm starting to sound like a family of crazy asbo chavs but i assure you were not lol

haha i bet  we went into a car park at 6am thismorning in the works van and we hit a the trolley bay thing and then drove of not to much damage to the trolleys of the posts but to the van it wasa mess haha(n)

well if you have consent to be on the land and are behind a closed gate they cant do naff all unless your disturbing near by residents

if your in tesco car park they can do you for what ever your doing.....

the GP seems very predictable in the snow even more so when you have winter tyres on :p

at the end of the day if your just doing a couple of turns and stops on your own they might just give you a slap on the wrist but if you have all your mates jeering you on your going to be in for it.....

Yea, if you get caught you will likely just get a telling off... Just ask them 'would you rather me drift on normal roads or in an empty car park?'.... wait for their response, you'll either get a telling off or if they arent nice....15 years prison time

or as my mate found out doing doughnuts in tesco car park a driving ban......

Traction control works on mine as I found out today.
Then with it off it really seems to be properly off.
I like choices :)

so true, when you take it off and you floor it you really have no traction lol... Fiat want us to mess about and do stunts without the traction off.... otherwise they would'nt have put the button in such a central place lol :p

Carlick, i noticed you are also in manchester, where abouts have you been testing out the traction control? any tips on some nice empty car parks?
