Hi guys,

Thermostat is replaced for a new one (OEM part). My coolant temp is better, cause with the old thermostat the gauge was at the 1/3 range. But with the new part, it still don’t reaches the middle. Usually it is around 1 mm below the middle, and if I drive in city, with lower speed, it reaches the middle, but only in this case. I checked it with diagnostic, temp is 78-79-80 Celsius during roadside driving, and 83-85 during city driving. Ambient temp is 14-15 Celsius. Is my coolant temp normal?

The figures seem correct to me, have you checked for full opening/closing before installing the new thermostat ? It should start to open around 80°C, that's when the bubbles appear in hot water …

BRs, Bernie

No, I have not checked it before installation.
I hope it’s normal. I attached one photo from the gauge with the old thermostat, and one with the new one.
