local mileage only, 150ish miles from a full tank, 300ish on the motorway, mines must be the thirstiest on record.

mine used to give me 300 miles on a tankfull. or as little as 250 if i was raggin it around town doing deliveries :D
mine was one of the most economical, though it was probably one of the most frequently serviced ones too. (9-10k intervals)

sounds true, mine gets spoilt with a full service every year regardless of mileage, usually 3-5k a year!

I went up scotland last year and got around 1100 miles out of just under 2 and a half tanks thats with a induction kit and a de-cat back s/s exhaust can anybody beat that??????? id love to know what it works out in mpg!

1.4sx MPH.

1100 miles? two & half tanks equals 125 litres. 125 into 1100 = 8.8 [miles per litre]
x 4.5 [litres to galls] =39.6 mph. If my working out is wrong, I stand to be corrected.

I get 80 miles on a tenner on the motorway (Hastings - Southend), i get about half that pootling to and from work. Thirsty bastard it is, 100% standard spec, just drinks like George Best on his best session days.

damn.. i knew my 1.2 has a drinking problem, a bit like the owner tbh, but i manage to get about 20 miles on a tenner when im on one :( was going to Ash's when i was helping him swap his engine and would get there preety damn quick, but use alorra go go. but when we went to leeds from rochester in kent we used a tank full (£47 i think) and did 400 miles from fill up to light on, but i was driving so damn slow i could have walked there faster, but sod carrying an engine back :)
