General 1.4 exhaust?

whats the best exhaust i can get for my 1.4?
i want more power but not too much sound.

A few people are saying supersprint, then others say they are no longer made.

so i here ragazzon are good too.

i can get a 1.2 box or 1.6 box, but which is best for the 1.4 stilo.

i need some definitive help asap.
Because i'm going to get a remap soon, and would prefer to have the exhaust on 1st.

Have it custom built thats how i did mine and if you shop around it can be a lot cheaper than other places.
I see a guy from performance stilo spent something like 400 on getting a cat back i think and it was a bit low and no cut bumper.
If you can get to kent there is a Guy who owns Zeroexhausts.co.uk or .com cant remember.
I payed 350 with him from flexi pipe back service was great, lifetime guarantee thurroughly recommend.
If you think that you are going to get a cheap or fit an exhaust yourself i wouldnt recommend it unless you know what you are doing if you are going for performance over sound if you want a pic of mine i will get one to mo.

well the supersprints are ment to be good for performance, ragazzon's too.
i wouldnt be fitting my self no.
Im thinking backbox, straight centre pipe(with no middle silencer) i know this will make it louder, but i beleive it will improve flow and give abit more performance???

I wouldn't mind getting the exhaust on around the same time I get the induction done really. Wouldn't mind some extra performance (of course), but to be honest, I'd be happy enough with a decent looking back box.

Be careful taking the Cat out make sure you know a guy that will give you an MOT.

You wont pass an MOT without the cat and the pre and post lambd's will light up the dash like a christmas tree if you try a decat..

Right so the cat isnt the mid silencer then because this is what i was told but i thought that the cat was up by the manifold on the 1.6

You wont get a big increase from a back box alone and I wouldnt go for anything else other than supersprint and that will only give you a slight increase anyway..for what you want the best would be a custom build one from One stop performance in the midlands..

If you do go down the Ragazzon route, its the 1.6 exhaust you go for not the 1.2!!
