1.4 Alternator

Right, have a 1.4 brava s N reg with i think the original alternator. Can't c what amps it generates, does anyboy have a clue what it could be, all i know is that its between 65-80 amps from the haynes manual. am a bit stumped.

has it gone on the blink?

this means the bigger the engine and load on the car the bigger the alternator.
you have a 1.4s so at a guess you have a 65 or 70 amp alternator. is this to replace or test the alternator, cause the only time you'll really need to worry about this is upon replacement or upgrade cause of ICE

sorry lack of info. was just tryin to work out if i can put another amp in to power a sub. Cheers for the info
