1.3 Multijet 90 BHP Fault codes?

Hi,

I've been having a problem recently where by I'm getting a P0747 - (Pressure Control Solenoid A Stuck On) fault code which is switching on the Engine Light. Sometimes I'll get a P0087 (fuel rail system pressure too low) code at the same time. A few times the car will go into limp home mode.

Has anyone experienced the P0747 code on a non automatic car before, what could be making this pop up?

My initial thoughts are to replace the pressure sensor for the P0087 and see what happens. I'm not sure if I have another issue though.....

I've disconnected and reconnected the plugs on the ECU. I was going to replace the fuel filter and possibly go for a pressure sensor and regulator.....

Just seems odd that I'm getting the P0747 code.

What readings is the ECU seeing..??
