The engine cuts out when the car is warm. The only way to start it again is to disconnect the battery for a few seconds and then it starts again.

It seems that it already has a new ECU. There are no error codes on the ECU. Any ideas?!

leavng it for a few minutes is often enough to get car restarted, might be coincidence? Like I said I would start there (scope out sensor pattern) then move on if this wasn't the fault.

without actually physically seeing/testing the car when the fault occurs is next to impossible to diagnose.....therefore it comes down to past experience/calculated guesses.

OK Thanks.

I heard it shouldn't be that has you need to disconnect the battery for it to start again.
