Tuning 1.2 8v cinq info ?

Tuning 1.2 8v cinq info ?

its grand i just gessed and turns out i got it right the 1st time i have it wired in to the map senser in the engine and i kinda ran into a little problom when i start my car from coold it drives fine and i have full power but when it heats up its dead there is no power all it dose is role you could say so i took my intercooler pipe off to see if it was the turbo making the problom but its not it dose the same thing with out the turbo and it has me lost can anyone help plz ?

He has no means of adding any extra fuel whatsoever, not even a rising rate reg and an upgraded pump which would be the minimum on a low boost. :shakehead:

He simply hasn't listened to a word anyone has said so I'd not waste any more of your energy tring to help the guy unless he changes his attitude.

It runs better when cold because of the fuel enrichement (pseudo choke).

It will still be running lean even when cold. You have probably done untold damage to the engine already and I'm certain it will be getting very hot.

Either find a way of adding extra fuel like everyone has already sugested, or give up and stop wasting all these helpful peoples time. If you don't listen you won't learn!

what do you mean it will be getting very hot ? and at the minute im looking for a fuel pump for the car any ideas and one to use ? ( punto gt ) ?

at the minute all i have done with the car so far is fuel presser reg and thats it but i hope i installed it the right way and what do i set it to ? like what bar ?

It will run lean, hence very hot, hence holes in pistons, etc.

Do a search for J333EVO's post on how to arrange a supplementary regulator -- you need both the supplementary one for the 2nd injector and the original one for the stock injector.

Punto GT one will do fine, but I'd buy a new insert (Google for fuel pumps).
 
they are not hard to plumb you just have to remember they regulate whats upstream of them (ie. between the fuel pump and the reg, NOT after the reg). Therefore you need the regulator for the 2nd injector between the fuel into TB and the t-piece for the 2nd injector. Make sense?
 
Ye I get you but what I can't understand is when I take my intercooler pipe off there is still no power I'm gonna do a compression test on it this week to make sure I did no damage to the engine
 
i did the compression test from right to left and the readings i got were : 205 psi , 190 psi , 205 psi , 210 psi

could that be a headgasket problom or pisston one ?

I need to ask one more thing were is a good vacuum sores for the dump valve and boost clock feed ? Because I have my dump valve on the little breather at the back of the throttle body and it wasn't working after I boosted and my boost clock is only reading vacuum and no boost but it was boosting

I give up.

If you'd read any of the books in the link at the top of the page you'd know where to put the BOV and the feed for the vacuum guage. Hell, if you'd looked at the pictures of any of the turbo Cinqs on here, you'd know where to put the BOV.
