Tuning 1.2 8v cinq info ?

It makes it better in the sense that the Mona Lisa was better because no - one had done one before. BUT you ain't no Michaelangelo.

i no im no michealangelo but i just want to try and 0ne engine is for now so the car will drive because i have college and stuff but when the engine is done then i will put it in and go truw everthing
 
MPI Sei ones are digital, so it would be nigh on impossible.

Early Sei ones are possible, but with an aweful lot more work than is readily apparent. One French guy did it..........

To my mind, the Cinq dash is more practical, it also has the all important water temperature guage. SPI Sei instrument clusters are much ugglier than the later ones.

thats not at all what you need, thats a Water/Methanol Injection Kit.. Thats basically an upgrade for a turbo engine or was, its what the saab turbo of the 80's had which made it so fast for its day (still quite fast by todays standards tbf). Production turbo cars now have intercoolers to do the same job of cooling inlet temps.
 
Stay well away from MF2. It's expensive, prehistoric, and difficult to set up well.

The kit Honeymonster uses is far superior and you can use it for low and high boost. It really is in another league. Probably cheaper, too.

Or if going MPI, you might like to go microsquirt, etc.

In fact, it's hard to give much more advice without knowing if you're going MPI or SPI.

As an MF2? No.

I have the two engine but dont no what one to go with and i tot that kit was ok looking for the mean time.

Go with the MPI, (or, at least, the MPI head, don't faff around with the compression yet, use -- if you bought the kit off that guy -- the Megasquirt -- and just use a boost regulator to run with about 3 psi. If you didn't get the kit off him, go Honeymonster. Get it mapped.

Later you can lower the compression (use the other block if you like) and turn up the boost.

The exhaust side of things is the same, MPI or SPI.
 
hello lads ran into a little problom i drove to car to day and it was fine no water,oil,air leaks any where but when i hit boost the injector light comes on on the dash i hve a felling it has to do with fuel but would a fcd or fpr help this ??????????
 
i just got my fcd just now but i have wired fcd before and i no they got to the map senser on ecu or at the map senser its self but no idea on a cinq i looked up so diagrams but nun of the make much sence to me i need to find the map senser pin on the ecu or just follow the hose on the carb back to the senser plug
 
Which ECU, FKS?

You ask for advice, don't follow any of it, don't do any reading, don't give us any information..........

I think that engine is due for meltdown............


tell me what you want to know and i will tell you and if it melts down i just start agen simple

and i ment the wires on the fcd go to the pins in the standard ecu
