General 1.2 16v 1.4 16v how do you spot the diffrence

any one tell me any visual difference's? i know the sumps have different part numbers but how are they different?
i bought what was supposed to be a 1.4 engine from an 04 stilo, but it has a bar-code sticker on it saying 1.2 16v
and sump looks same as the one on my 1.2 16v

Then it's a 1.2 16v Dave.

The 1.4's have a completely alloy sump with a 17mm sump bung.

aww crap it got it from alfa city in birmingham, it looks like it does have the low miles that he claimed as its very clean, so wouldnt mind keeping it, but think he should give me back about £100? he charged me £350

he hasnt rang back yet. it doing my head in not knowing weather to put my engine back in or see if he going to find me a 1.4 or give me some money back
