Hi there, am new to the site. My car of 2mths has in the last week developed a rattle in the engine which disappears when the car hits 2000-revs. Apart from this the car is running perfectly. Not overheating, no running problems at all. at first i thought it was the exhaust cos it does need replacing at some point, but when i took it to a friend who is a mechanic and he put it up on the ramp it was fine. On pulling the bonnet we realised where the noise was coming from. The friend contacted a fiat dealer about removing the rocker cover and found we would have to dismantle half the engine first, so before we got down to this i was wondering if anyone had had the same problem.
