Hi all,

I am getting a P2081 fault code, intermittent circuit on the bank 1 sensor 1 Exhaust Gas Temperature sensor.

It’s a 2013 Ducato.

Firstly, I take it that sensor is the one just before the DPF?

Secondly, I took it out to test it. The ohms quickly drop to zero when heated up. However when I test it with the multimeter, the ohms rise and rise when it’s cold. As soon as I connect the multimeter, the resistance rises.

Sorry for the stupid question, is the sensor duff?

I have already changed the lambda sensor thinking it was the temperature sensor because I am thick! Now thick and skint! ����*
