Just got my car back up and running 2 weeks ago, from the cambelt breaking and bending 8 valves! :bang:, but now it has broken down again, this time the same thing is happening from when i broken down before my cam belt snapped, its misfiring and the engine is moving and does not sound nice, it judders etc etc, which means misfire, i domnt know what it could be as spark plugs ht leads and coil pack were all changed just over a month ago when same problem happened, when i was out i tested spark plugs by taking them out connecting to ht lead and turning engine over, they all spark, which is weird... what do you think this could be anybody? could it be that i just need to clean plugs? or could it be something else like the coil pack again or even the ecu? My car is really annoying me now... broken down 6 times now in 6 months that i have had it and i have already paid more for parts and labour than what i payed for it.... and this happens the day i lower it! TYPICAL

Is the engine timed correctly. Out of time will cause your problems. Did you get the ecu read?

could have a broken down ht lead or spark plug, just because it sparks doesnt mean it is fully working

Did you replace the valves your self ?

is the misfire permanent or not (ie happens when warm / cold) , also have the spark plugs been re gapped since the t belt failure ?, did the leads and coils cure the problem or not ?

Replaces coil pack now... but it wont even turn over now and fire up... my dad times it with help from head mechanic at citroen... valves were also changed by dad and head mechanic... cheers for help guys... much appreciated... i think it might need timing again but will be checking soon as in germany atm
