 How can any 2002 car that needs an engine rebuild be called a "Good Car"
Kind of thing you'd exppect from a ten year old banger

Hi there!

I've just paid a bit over 2k pounds to get my abarths engine rebuilt. The only downside is that the most of main parts are very hard to get from fiat - I have waited over 2 months for crankshaft and guess what - it never came. I had to get parts from somewhere else in Europe.

So before even thinking about rebuilding the engine try to get a quote and date when parts can be delivered. If they don't have it they will put it as 'back order' and you will wait for months.

Good Luck!!

Engine from Lancia Kappa 2.4 is 98% same as one from Abarth. Thrust me
I know. I have one fitted in my Stilo Abarth because on my genuine
engine piston rod broke down after 38000 km and demolished engine
totally. Only difference is in electrics and cover of the valves.
On lancia engine there is metal cover with LANCIA letters and on Stilo is made from plastic but can fit
100%. Main difference between this two engine is the weight of the
piston and the shape of oil sump. All rest parts are 100% same.
Now I'm thinking to put engine from Coupe 2.0 20V turbo.

Not very good English I must say? Lack of grammar and sentence structure aswell. Doesn't school work over there? I learnt better English at shool in Norway than this.

;)
