The road speed signal to the speedometer comes from the ABS ECU which gets signals from the 4 wheel speed sensors mounted in the hubs. There's also no specific fuse just for the speedometer. The whole electronic instrument panel gets a permanent supply from fuse F37 (10Amp) and an ignition switched supply from fuse F53 (10 Amp), both located in the dashboard fuse box. You can download a handbook from the forum downloads section here: https://www.fiatforum.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=5 .

If you don't have that, it's likely to be a fault with the instrument panel, possibly the speedometer stepper motor not working. All four needles have their own stepper motor to move the needle. .

You would need to do further diagnosis to confirm it. MES software (www.multiecuscan.net ) a laptop, interface and the correct leads can be used to operate the speedometer needle independantly from the laptop. That would help with diagnosis. If it is the stepper motor, you can buy one seperately but they are tricky to remove and solder to the PCB, and it's easy to damage one, or more, of the other 3 motors while dismantling the cluster. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251344604661?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p398 4.m1423.l2649 If you buy a replacement cluster, you need to get one with a lower mileage than your current one because the mileage display can only be adjusted upwards. If you add your location to your profile, you may get offers of help from members that already have MES. .
