Hi, I just read this post. Do the diesel cars after 2004 not require an emission test?
My stilo jtd estate is smoking when under stress and I think it's the turbo. Do you know if this would effect the mot?

My 1.9jtd mw is a 2004 and there was no emission test last august anyways. The wifes astra was 2006 and dont think it got one either. I think it was axed coz they hold high revs and they wer snapping timing belts on occasion and subject to big claims
