(y) I finally got round to fitting the strut brace on my Abarth. I tightend the last bolt and the heavens opened up, so just have to wait.

Wasn't too bad to do with the right tools, a bit of patience and proper marking up was well worth it- had to adjust some wiring harness up a bit and reposition the clips.

Take some pics and post up later on.

pics as promised

What sort of differences is it going to make?

Hell of a lot of difference now i've been out in her. The body roll before was quite dramatic at times, especially on a winding curve which then goes into a sharper curve- now it stays firmly on the road and grip is miles better.

Definately recommend this being done.

Very neat job Fiattech. I'm thinking of doing this when my /warranty expires - have u lowered your Stilo as well? Trouble is I have the Selespeed oil reservoir on the o/s to contend with.

Haven't lowered her yet- plan to in her 3rd year most probably.

Speak to bennyboy about fitting it on s/speed, as he has done it

Still very easy to fit James, I thought I showed you at Brooklands? I'm still investigating a new resevoir though. But where I've moved the original resevoir It's pretty tight & it doesn't catch the bonnet. & yeah it cuts out body roll giving more feedback & feel through the steering making it more precise. I've also found it boosts your confidence as well. (y)

Cheers lads (y) Yes Ben I remember from Brooklands - thanx, I just wanted to know whether Fiattech had any more Fiat like tips! Definately seems worth doing - think I'll have to find another Insurer though as Esure won't permit anyany mods at all. Anyone know what Adrian Flux are like?

What's the price for one of theese strut braces??? Where did you get them??? Are they universal or do they have to be specially for the Stilo????

I can never bring myself to do anything to my car, keep wanting to get it cleaned up a little, 36k miles is taking its toll, a couple of little dents and scratches need sorting. Thinking about spending some of my bonus of the Angel Tuning package, springs, CDA & remap, but I'll probably never manage to get round to it.

You gotta do it mate. I don't know about the remap as I can't afford it at the moment, but the few mods I have done so far have made one hell of an improvement. (y)

Isn't KoArAnG with Adrian Flux? He seems to rate them for mods, unless I am mistaken...

Nice strutbrace, fiattech :D - still tempted, once I sort out other issues in my life, lol.
