just wanted to ask , i would like this done as i do find the ride could do with tightening up a bit.
i live in a forest of traffic calming though , and am worried that going over millions of speed bumps would be more uncomfetable than it is now.

stilo 1.6 dynamic 16v

No, not at all, you notice no difference in the ride with regards to comfort or noise, but it goes round corners without that squidgy body roll, excellent upgrade!

Twincams - 5 months on, are you still happy with your Eibach springs ?

Any problems at all ?

I ask as *IF* I keep my Stilo Abarth (I've had *many* problems), then sorting the marshmallow-like suspension is a definite possible.

Fitted H&R 40mm lowering springs to my partner's Stilo JTD, really improved the handling and didn't affect the ride quality at all (took away all the sponginess), even with 18" alloys. As regards the wheel geometry, it had to be reset to compensate for the lowered suspension, which is very important to stop premature tyre wear. The standard shock absorbers were fine for the job and it was not necessary to change them for this drop (although for N.I. MOT this might be a different matter).

Got spax 35mm lowering springs for my 1.6 on 17" alloys 4 months ago and am most impressed with the overall look and handling improvements. Ordered them from Halfords for 0„5109 and got them fitted via a friend of a friend for 0„550. a ll in all job well done and would fully recommend(just dont hit any pot holes or a trip to the dentist will be required.

cheers Phil
