Hi All

I have a 1.2 Stilo 02 reg, and I'm trying to fix a problem with the windscreen washer motor.

I bought the car some months ago, and to be honest I can't remember whether it worked at that time, but with the snow I've come to need it a lot recently!

Basically what happens is I pull my washer lever forward to release the water, the wiper blades move, but nothing comes out. I have had antifreeze in, and the bottle is full. But you can't hear anything, usually you can hear the motor going (in all my other cars I have anyway!).

I don't have the manual for the car (I do somewhere but I cannot find it anywhere!!), so I'm not sure where the motor is. I've checked all the fuses underneath the steering column (I think!).

Any ideas would be really appreciated, as throwing water out of a bottle onto my windscreen whilst driving isn't the best option!! ;)

Cheers

The washer pump is fixed into the bottom of the washer resevoir. To get to it, you need to remove the right front wheel and wheel arch liner.

The fuse for it is F43 in the dashboard fusebox. There's a diagram on the inside of the cover to show which is F43.
