I have just discovered when my "Airbag stop engine" warning sign comes on if I press my Menu button the warnig goes off and my system is normal, why is this?????

Pressing the 'menu' button on the right console seems to accept the fault if you like. The fault is still there though. I had an ASR / ABS fault a while back and used to press the menu button to get rid of the warning too. Again the fault was still there (No ASR or ABS) but the warning caption was nulled.

Dont know if this is a feature or if it just does it though, which I guess is what you are asking.

Any of the warning messages can be temporarily cancelled by pressing the " MENU " button. If the fault isn't rectified though, the warning message will come back next time you switch the ignition on.

Dave.
