I refused to give up with the sky roof. I love having it open... and its a fairly unique feature (bar the A class i think?) That said i think the cold snap basically froze the lube... maybe taking a hairdryer to it next time would solve the problem...
I've greased up the runners on the panels with some bearing grease (its all i had at the time and it said its good to -20 i think).. but its the runners i'm more concerned about.. i think they should be a black finish, but i'm definately seeing scratches in it meaning something isn't moving as smoothly as it should....but this is the 1st "real" skyroof problem i've had in 7.5 years of ownership
