General Panaramic Sunroof (Skyroof Sky roof)

I refused to give up with the sky roof. I love having it open... and its a fairly unique feature (bar the A class i think?) That said i think the cold snap basically froze the lube... maybe taking a hairdryer to it next time would solve the problem...

I've greased up the runners on the panels with some bearing grease (its all i had at the time and it said its good to -20 i think).. but its the runners i'm more concerned about.. i think they should be a black finish, but i'm definately seeing scratches in it meaning something isn't moving as smoothly as it should....but this is the 1st "real" skyroof problem i've had in 7.5 years of ownership :D

Thanks, but not quite the area i was referring too. I'll take a picture of the area when i'm able too... But nice trick with the sealing strips! :D
 
Hi there I have reccently noticed a problem with my skyroof!! :(
It wont open or close and the curtain is covering the second glass sheet from the back have checked all fuses and there ok do you know what the problem may be?? If you could help me i would be most greatfull :) also could you inbox me instead of posting back on here thankyou

Plus anyone who is having problems with thier sunroof let me know, as having stripped and fitted new componants and complete new sunroofs I know quite alot about them. Including how to take out your sunroof blind the easy way so that you can give it a good clean if it needs it.

Cheers all. Have a look at my add. See ifyoucan finally get your sunroof working ready for summer. Without having to buy a whole new sunroof from Fiat. How stupid is it thatthey charge you for the whole new one when it just needs a fix.

Hi mate,i recently bought a stilo and the skyroof or curtain wont work,push any of the buttons and dead as a dodo,any tips would be great,thanx tony
 
Hi, my sun blind on the sky roof has come off one of its runners, can anyone advise me how to put
It back as Im at a loss with it :) thank you in advance
