I have a 2003, 5 door Stilo Abarth with built in sat nav and onboard telephone system. It's the type that you have to insert a sim card into the slot and it works off there...

Its a second hand car and I've discovered telephone numbers from people I don't know all stored into the telephone although these are not numbers in the directory, just a list of 'Last called' and 'Last received'. Is there any way to delete these numbers?

If I ever came to sell the vehicle (not likely in the near future) I'd hate to think of any number that I've called then being able to be accessed by the new owner. I know they are not on the sim card as I got a brand new one today, especially for the car, but the numbers are still there.

Please can anyone help with a 'step-by-step' simpletons guide on telephone number deletion? I looked in the manual (all 398 pages) and can't see any info.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can delete the last called or received lists. I believe the lists only store the 10 or 12 most recent numbers so if you fill them with 10 or 12 more random numbers the original numbers should disappear. I've never felt the need to try this but it may work.

Dave.
