Does anybody know weather the OBD Connection is of the CanBus type because i need to get the diagnostics lead for my Carputer soon. Sorry if its worded wrong theres to much to remember doing these things.

Hello, the obd2 connector in the Stilo has KWP2000 / iso 14230 protocol on a K-line on pin 7 for obd2 purposes.
Seperate from the obd function on pin 7 it has low speed CAN (50 kbps) on pin 6 (high) and 14 (low).
This it not used for obd2 diagnosis but can be used for Examiner diagnosis (ecu tests , service reset etc.)
So the Stilo does not have OBD2 on CAN.
Hope this helps,

Yep that should do it.
Does anybody know what the connector by the battery is for because if this is a secondary OBD connector i would be better off connecting it there as it will be permanantly connected which will be a pain having it on the one down by the driver.

there is no such thing as a secondary obd connector - however if you want to monitor the K-line of the obd connector it is possible to connect to this line near the motor-ecu (you have to pick the right cable inside the wiring loom to the ecu).
I have permanently connected a obd data display to the obd connector and it doesn't affect the performance of the ecu in any way !
Of course you should know what you're doing...
good luck!

maybe you mean the mass connector which connects several mass wires to chassis ground by means of a (m8?) thread/nut?
If not please post a picture of the connector and it's environment to see what you mean....
