Hi to everyone.

Recently I bought a used Connect Nav+ from a guy in Germany and I am planning on installing it on my Stilo 1.6 Dynamic. I already put a post in the Italian StiloTuningClub and they gave me some instructions how I can do it.

They say all I need is a base used to adapt the NAV+ console, a mic for the voice commands which will be installed in the sunroof control box, a set of buttons installed under the mirror (code 735303207), a GPS antenna and you are set to go.

Has any of you had any similar experience doing such an installation, or can you give me any hints on what to expect?

well it can be fitted, just functions wont work in it, but if what karatika has been told is right, then I dont see why not. It is an optional factory option to have the connect nav fitted into the 1.6 dynamic anyway

Hi,

what you need:

the right metal frame to fit it into the double din slot
GPS/GSM antennas with gt5 plugs (or adaptors)
additional 12V ignition plus (from dash or better yet, cigarette lighter)

Oh, and a microphone of course (you already have that if I read your post alright).

That's all, it can be done (did it myself, including abarth dash (is up for sale at ebay.de for 99 euros right now).

If you have any questions just pm or email me...

Best,
Lars.

I have the same Nav + and a 1.6 Dynamic... Does anyone know where you can order the extra parts you need?

Hi, just ask your local fiat dealer, they even the necessary antenna adaptors.... at least mine in germany did...

Best, Lars.

Tried and they never get back to me!!

Anyone not use theirs that they want to get rid off?

where u buy them and how much cos i want one do they fit a 1.6 active sport. i was gona get a tft screen n dvd player in one but the nav + is better :p :D

For all the necessary parts, just tell your dealer to look up the part numbers in ePer...

You need:
-NAV+ metal frame (different from standard CD radio)
-microphone unit

Additionally, you need GPS/GSM antennas with GT5 plugs (Mercedes uses those too)

To get the NAV+ working, you need an ignition +12V line which is not present in cars with the standard radio. You can get that from the cigarette lighter... Don't forget to fit a fuse though...

Any questions? Just PM me...

Best,
Lars.

well, i guess you need to find someone who doesn't need his or hers anymore... there's almost always some on ebay (uk/germany)... be patient...

i have a spare connect nav (without plus)... interested? pm me... doesn't have the fancy 7" tft though, an amber screen with arrow navigation and a built in phone isn't bad either if you come to think about it...

best,
lars.

thanks but no am looking 4 the full package :p al keep searching around neway or al ask about on search engines. cheers neway :D

Hey, I am German and bought it from someone in this forum... That's the same thing, isn't it? BTW, thank you, pc99, for a very smooth deal!

But anyway, the unit up for sale on Ebay is NAV and not a NAV+, watch out for that!

Best,

Lars.
