Delete old members?

we have over 10k members now. Isn't that using a lot of bandwidth having their info stored on here?

Couldn't we delete members that have been dormant for 6months or more?

Re: Delete old members?

I think 6 months is a bit short. A year is probably a better length of time.

Re: Delete old members?

ben don't want to delete members, FF has plenty of storage and the high member count makes the forum look better. I only know this because he said it before...

Although i think that one member 'joe' should be deleted and his name given to me

Re: Delete old members?

Thing is also, if I delete members, what happens to their posts? They all get bunched as 'unregistered' and would make the place look crap

It's a bit different now though, inactives get deleted after 14 days, which clears out most of the 0 posters.
