I think we should have a maximum sig size, say a maximum height and width, like they do on some forums.

I dont mean to be a kill joy or anything, but peoples sigs are getting sooooo massive that its getting hard to read some threads and soon we are going to be getting one reply per page!

What do you reckon Ben?

As someone on another forum pointed out, the only thing men like to boast about being the smallest is their mobile phones ;)

You still have to work out who the offender with the >500kb sig is, then you can lynch him/ her. Yes I am so sad I checked.

P'ah, he is offline for a few days, getting his HDD fixed or something, I am sure he won't mind...

*goes and find cases, packs, and leaves country real fast*

Ben, why not have just the first frame of your present sig as a new sig, forget about all this animated gif nonsense ;)

And i must say that i still dont like really long sigs, even if they are just loads of text, they mean that you have to scroll down about 2 miles to get to the next post! :D

Some folks, not pointing any fingers have sigs as bmp files too which is slower, wondered why my computer was running slower bennyboy!

I can't see how my signature affects your computer in anyway at all! get a faster connection. I also don't think that my sig is particularly big & loads fine on my computer. You lot could always try fiddling with your resolution that might make things load quicker! (y)

I can't get a faster connection, I live in the sticks. At present speed here it takes 50-100 seconds to load 500kb and for most people on a 500kbps connection it will take them 5-10 secs. You tend to forget things like that when you're on a super-fast always on connection, as did I when I was at uni :)

I hate long sigs, more that ones that take longer to load.

ben, make a decision, and stick with it. Saves all the petty arguments. I don't mind making mine smaller if needed...
