I just scanned through all scudo posts. There are many questions that seem never to have been answered. Wouldn't it be useful to put your own reply on if you managed to get the problem sorted on your own, just to educate the rest of us. You never know when you might need the answer to a different problem in a hurry without waiting for replies to be posted........just a thought(y)

I get the impression it's just me and you....

What's probably needed is a Scudo/Dispatch/Expert/E7 forum as they're all the same.

Only problem is, when I go down to Peugeot and ask for xxxxx they ask whats the registration number or chassis number. Then find its a Fiat and say "Computer says no!"
Parts departments people don't have the wit to get out an exploded diagram and try to identify the part themselves.

Correct........ Frustrating, isn't it?

There are some good guys around though - I have had a clicking drive shaft for a couple of weeks, so went to see Nigel at http://www.cvjoints.co.uk/ . Refused to sell me a shaft, came up with an outer joint for under £50 and told me how to fit it. Excellent.

Mind you, my local Fiat main agent goes into big sighs and huffing and puffing when I go in.

I take it you're some sort of service engineer? I do domestic appliances and quick, prompt, friendly, cost efficient service is what makes it work and keeps my customers happy. I can't say that I'm happy with the dealers so far.

Look at top of page......EPER find your part there!

Mike alot of people get the info they need (for free) then bugger off until they need help again. To be fair some do come back & tell us what they found etc.

Hi Dave,
Yup, nice to see it on-line. Wish we could do the same in my business.......:( I do think the "how to" stuff is very poor.
