Just had my GT in bits today but all back together now with having a full service...however, oil still coming out of the dump valve...how is this caused? Is it just pushing out whats left of the **** oil or is this a fault? Also, the car is cutting out i.e when i approach a juction and i dip the clutch...any ideas? We didnt change the plugs...could this be why?

I have a bit of oil come out of my dump valve but not alot and tbh i don't know what causes it. Try cleaning out your idle control valve (icv) with some carb cleaner and while your there give your air flow meter (afm) a clean too. Hope this helps :)

I will try that! Cheers! Im thinking of turning the boost up too...what did u say it should be? And where do u look to find out what it is? On the gauge on the dash it boosts upto the halfway mark.

I'd take the turbo pipe off the manifold (inlet) see how much oil is in in. Try the ic pipes too. Could be a turbo seal gone.

Stalling is most likely a dirty/worn icv. (idle control valve). I get through a few.

Also as mentioned check the fillament in the air flow meter, but be carefull what you clean it with as some products can fowl the sensor and completely confuse it!

Its got 10-40 in now. Looks like it had black mayonnaise in before! lol! Atleast thats what it looked like! Its only a little bit but its all going over the radiator fan!

When my car was standard it boosted up to just below 3/4 on the standard gauge. You should seriously consider getting a more accurate gauge though as the standard one is pony ;) Have you got a bleed valve then?
