alright battery problem resolved.
the hatch was not closing properly and killed the battery.
So, here's what I discovered that was keeping the rear hatch from closing. To left of the latch on the actual rear hatch door itself is some part that has these rectangular looking 'pins' that stick out when rear hatch is open. One of them must have had a short becuase the plastic was burned around it and it would not close back in when the rear hatch was being closed.
Question:
What is this part, and what is its function? I'm guessing it has something to do with locking? or maybe even some to do with power for the rear wiper? (which does not work by the way)
anyone ever go through this experience, or have to replace this part?
Thanks for any and all info.
