hi, again folks

i jave another 'strange' question regarding my '98 85elx.

when driving around, acceleration, turning & obviously stopping.
the fuel gauge moves up & down, the low fuel light goes on & off.
but it settles fine if the car is sitting still.

am i thinking there is a damper or such like on the sender unit?
or is it a known fault?

Yes there is a damper. I am on my third pump and each has behaved differently. The original moved very little, the second moved a lot and the current one moves less.

I’m on the second pump and both have moved a bit when cornering , notice it more when the tank is low and the light comes on but it’s not a problem [emoji1303]

my light flashes even with around £20 of fuel in it.:bang:
