Dear Fellows,
I have a Fiat Punto from 1996. It has now the following trouble: when the direction indicator is on, whenever I press the brake pedal or switch on the rear fog light or put reverse, the direction indicator stops to flash. Once I release the brake pedal or turn off the rear fog light or put any other gear than reverse, the direction indicator continues working as usual.
I suspect it has to do with some part in the electrical system that somehow merges the circuits together, so for some reason, the actions of the brake / fog light / reverse light are drawing the current aimed at the direction indicators.
I could look into the MK2 wiring diagram, and found out a part called multi-timer unit. But no so sure what is that for and where it is located. However, my Punto is MK1, so unsure about its existence. :bang::bang:
Any clue? input? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 1996 Punto?
I will be very grateful!!
Kind regards to you all!
Leo
