My Punto Convertible needs new coil springs all round due to corrosion. However, I am finding that the front springs are not available. I am told that the springs differ between air con and non-aircon models, the air con (which I have) springs are not available.

Can anay tell me:

1. What the difference between air con and non air con models is?

2. Any source for the correct springs?

Please help - frustrated!

the aircon ones are cold steel?
it must be either the progressiveness of the springs or maybe they are uprated for the extra weight of the aircon
you know what?
i think i would just fit whats available
