Ok people, i have this question, i have seen on the back of alot of punto mk1's (black ones) the lights have been painted black, how is this done is it a simple spray on, or is it done professionally??? i was going to put tights over my lights lol not quite the same affect!!

Dont put tights over them whatever you do!

You can get tint spray from Halfords which will do the job if you know what to do......
Sprayshops will do it for you but it will cost you

Yeah you've gotta buy 'Tint remover', or you could use thinners but this makes the light dull. I wasted 25quid on the tint and the remover so make sure you know how to do it properly before you start :idea:

You mean ones like mine (see my sig pic)? That was done using no more than a 15-quid tin of light tint spray (usually a tenner but Unicar is a ripoff and motor world were all out ) and some masking tape & newspaper to mask off the parts that I didn't want to tint. Just clean the lights with some spray-on glass cleaner, give them a good wipe and they're ready to spray; do lots of very thin coats leaving half an hour or so between coats to get a good even finish.

As for removing it: if you do a good job in the first place then it won't need removing
