the alarm is no longer sounding when arming/diarming via key.
tested by it open the door with it armed, no sound but lights still flash
anyone else had problems with there alram not working?

do you know waht type of alarm you have?
it sounds like you have a break in the siren circuit or the siren is knackered.,.,

its is the standard alarm that was fitted at the factory.

not sure what that one is like but if the indicators are flashing then it shows the alarm is triggering so is most likely the siren., its just a matter of weather the siren can be replaced or not.,
the alarm could be a single unit with teh siren built in.,.
I'll see if i can dig up any more info on it for ya.,

Hey, not the only one a friend has just had this happen.

The alarm arms and disarms, but with no "chirping", when armed and then triggered off the lights flash so the sensors (doors and internal) are working but no alarm.

But here is the funny thing, when its driven down the road after a short ride the siren goes off???

Can anyone tell us it the arm and disarm "Chrip" comes from the siren or somewhere else???

Its a standard HGT alarm, any ideas???
