Hi guys. Just picked up my first Punto (02 Reg Active, 5 door). It's got central locking fitted but I want to fit this remote locking kit I've just bought from ebay.

The trouble is, I haven't got a clue where to even start. The instructions that came with the kit are pants. I dont even know where to find the central locking controller in the car. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

In the guide section i did a "how to" install a car alarm., you will use the same wiring to fit that remote cl kit.,.,

Thanks vtec. Thats a great help. My controller also connects to the indicators, horn and electric windows. Any ideas how I can do this too?

OK. I'm getting there. I've found enough info to wire this thing up except for the horn and the electric front windows. Can anybody with a Haynes manual please tell which colour wires these are in the fuse box? Many thanks in advance.

Ok Thats it. I give up. I've got my dashboard in bits and scattered all over the car. I've got 1 black/blue wire from my remote locking controller that needs conecting to the electric windows some how. There are 8 wires coming out the back of the electric window switch and I havn't got a clue which one to use. It's driving me mad. On the plus side, I've connected my stereo to the cigarette lighter live so now I don't have to worry about leaving the stereo on when I leave the car. Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh
