i was topping up my oil 2 day at work and realised my ecu is a 1.1 and i had a 1.2 engine droped in. any way i just put the 1.2 ecu in and the car wont start with the 1.2 ecu but it will start with the 1.1 ecu. have you got any suggestions how to fix it? cheers

Leave the 1.1 ecu in and forget about it. It won't start with the 1.2 because the 1.2 ecu will require a matched sender and key.

The 1.1 works fine with the 1.2 and has the 'benefit' of allowing the engine to rev a little more. I use a 1.1 in my 1.2 punto with 866 cam, chip and other bits. Its fine. Leave it
