I've just got hold of a 2nd hand standard punto sub that fits in the boot near the wheel arch. My problem is wiring it up. I have noticed that there is a small two-wire connector on the driver's side near the rear right speaker hole. I've connected this to a 12V bulb to see if it was for power and it is a constant 12V whether the head unit is on or not. I have a sub out on my head unit so I can connect the sub to this. Is it just a case of connecting the sub to this 12V supply and head unit? I don't want it to drain my battery when its not in use. Is there some way of doing this?

Any help on this much apreciated...

Thanks

Hi, firstly thanks for your speedy reply. I have read those posts you suggested and they were of great help. I have an auto antenna out wire on my head unit I'm guiessing that I need a to wire this to the positive side of the sub then add a negative wire and then a connection to the head units sub out? Is this Correct?

I know I'm probably being a dumbass but I want to get this right.

Thanks for any more help u gan give me

Cheers.......
