Hi all,

Just thought id let you all know i managed to get air in my punto 1.7td over a hump back bridge, i wasnt really planning too because i dont want to damage it but i hit it just a bit too fast and got the whole car about 1 metre in the air. The car following said they could see all the under side of my car and that it went nose down towards the ground.

Anyone else managed a Dukes of Hazard stunt like this!?

The punto must be a pretty robust car to have survived it with no damage, and it landed pretty nicely to!

I've had my Punto off the ground on track days before cutting corners onto dirt and jumping back onto the tarmac but you're talking 6" or so.

Ask anyone who was on the Northern camping trip..

Had about 1 foot under the wheels, scratched the exhaust, bumper and gearbox... tooo close Doubt it was 1 meter.. Thats a huge height to drop a car from, you'd pop the struts and almost certainly damage it.

Just leading the convoy into Ambleside, went for a known bump meaning to go light... bravo JTDs go faster than you think and I showed sportingstilo a clean set of wheels behind He said it looked awesome so that made it alright

60 mph over a small hump bridge, bounced twice. Must have gone metre in the air. First time i really did something dangerously daft, and the last. mate hit his head on roof even with seat belt on! i crapped my self!

Those days are over now tho, no more driving like a rally driver!!
