That only works in a mk1 punto, the mk 2 kit is an 8 wire jobbie, takes around an hour to fit, some electrical knowledge is reguired.

Fiat charge £190 to fit remote to a mk2 punto, I got my kit of ebay for £55

Sorry but I can't remember the meta part number, but the remote kit I normally fit is basically a control module. You simply remove a plug from the body connector & fit it into the module, meanwhile a plug from the module goes into the now vacant slot on the body computer.
Connect up 2 indicator wires,a earth thats it;)

and fiat charge £190 for that, aholes:p

mk1's have a yellow relay with like 4 or 6pins, and a little aerial sticking out of it. and mk2's are the same fusebox arrangement as the doblo vans, I reckon there WILL be some on ebay at all times, is for every other modern (1996>) fiat:confused:

and the key will look like that for all of the META/fiat kits I know of, like a little blue (1 1/4") disc with a rubber blue button. although I would wait till a kit with two key fobs comes up, as your likely to loose one and a replacement coded to *that* relay thing is like £70 from fiat:eek:
