Technical Everything seems to be draining the battery

An update after a week of drying out.

Not been able to get stereo out yet due to being let down by Halfords but will be getting some stereo pins off ebay now, so i can check out and reorganise the wiring. I need to get the stereo re-wired so it turns off when ignition turns off as that's a problem waiting to happen too

GPS Tracker is one thing the car does have and is a concern too, will see what circuit that is on.

I haven't took dash-board apart yet, and hope i don't need too  . I am relying on the 2 days of running a dehumidifier in the car when it was sat on the drive to do the job for me, just hoping no corrosion has caused a drain between contacts now. I haven't replaced the central locking fuse or stereo fuse yet as I want to check I have everything else OK at present.

Battery was removed and totally cleaned and all contacts and wires well scrubbed to reduce the risk of power tracking somewhere. all refitted with a light spray of GT85 as thats all I have at present. What would be ideal here?? I'm looking for a good electrical sealer.

The car is running fine at present even after heavy rain the other day.

It looks like it was the 'Duck-Bills' not draining quickly enough that caused the problem. I hope there's nothing else as I've had enough now :).

I will fit and test the removed fuses over the next few days and hope there is no drain or fizzing noises that I was getting. Then hopefully I can move on to new front shocks

If your radio needs round removers you can cut up a wire coat hanger and use that.

Thanks, I did try this but didn't have much luck getting it to line up and pull out. Ordered new ones off ebay for £1.50 so will get the job done over next week finally
