Hey guys,
Got my starter motor out and its a Denso C132 E80E. I've looked on Ebay and they all seem to be E30F starts. Will this still work?

I suppose you are saying you are finding the 0.8kilo watt E80F and you wanted the 0.9kw E80E?

So its the extra power needed for the 1.2 16V engine versus the lower compression 1.2 8V

This one below is a bit odd as its a .9kw E30F for a 1.2 16V

There are though many of these E80F 63102020 .9kw starters coming from 16V puntos

I found this:

The E80F is 8 tooth. The E80E is 9 tooth. The E80F .8kw is under powered for 16V cold weather starting.

In Finland most 8V and 16V puntos have a 1.0kw E80E. A few have an hitachi starter.

thank you! I'm having a very hard time finding a 0.9KW E80E, so I was wondering whether or not an E80F would fit. Mine's a 1.2 16v sporting 6 speed. I'm assuming if the teeth are different, it won't fit, right?

Those links strongly suggest the E80F will fit but you need to avoid an .8kw E80F

I really have no idea other than what is suggested by that stuff on the internet
